The AANEM is the leading organization dedicated to advancing neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, and electrodiagnostic medicine. All physicians that are certified by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM) have demonstrated a commitment to quality electrodiagnostic medicine and are specially trained to perform these studies, including EMGs and nerve conduction studies, two key diagnostic tools for many types of neuropathy.
