National Neuropathy Week 2009:  Focus on Advocacy

You can lend your voice by sharing your experiences with neuropathy, participating in our polls, letter-writing campaigns and advocacy campaigns, and by requesting neuropathy proclamations from your state representatives. Healthcare Reform Efforts

Whether attending forums on caring for those with multiple chronic illnesses or lending our support to such efforts as the “National Pain Care Policy Act” and the successfully passed “Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA),” we are proactively speaking out about the issues unique to our community.

IVIG Access Advocacy Efforts

IVIG Day DC Subsequent to our 2008 grassroots campaign in support of legislative efforts seeking to restore IVIG Medicare patient access, we recently met with Members of Congress and 18 patient advocacy groups to support the new legislation - H.R. 2002, Medicare Patient IVIG Access Act of 2009.
