Dr. Jaydeep Bhatt is assistant professor of Neurology at New York University School of Medicine. He is board certified in Neurology and Electro-diagnostic Medicine and has a clinical and academic subspecialty in neuromuscular disorders including peripheral and entrapment neuropathies, myopathies, motor neuron disease, and myasthenia gravis.

We need people to be aware of this debilitating disease that affects over 20,000,000—1 in 15—people in the U.S. alone. Why? So that we can better understand what causes it, find treatment options, and explore ways to prevent it. But more important, we really need people to recognize the symptoms of neuropathy—because getting help early can make a big difference.

A special thanks to Dr. Bhatt for giving his time and expertise to increase the public profile of neuropathy! And, special thanks as well to the SiriusXM team for helping put the spotlight on neuropathy.
